A great loss indeed. I was just reading his interview in the Paris Review Interviews Volume 1 two weeks ago and I had the thought that he probably wasn't going to be with us much longer. I in fact had The Sirens of Titan in my hand at Elliott Bay last weekend but I passed on it. Thankfully his books live on.
